Decorative lighting poles at 6 m and 3 m — Train Park project, Makkah

Aktar manufactured and supplied 78 decorative lighting poles for the Train Park project in Makkah, contracted with White Bridge Contracting Co. as the executing party. The quantity comprised 34 poles at 6 m and 44 poles at 3 m, delivered with their lanterns and lighting units ready for installation.

The 6 m poles were built from hot-dip galvanized steel at 6 inches in diameter with a 4 mm wall, each carrying a 150 W lantern at the pole head at a colour temperature of 3000 K. The 3 m poles share the 6-inch diameter with a 3 mm wall, and their lighting unit is integrated into the pole head at 50 W and 3000 K — a warm temperature suited to gardens and walkways that limits glare at eye level.

The poles were hot-dip galvanized to a coating not less than 85 microns under a galvanizing certificate, then finished with two coats of thermal paint to resist humidity and UV. Each pole is fixed on a 40×40 cm base plate with 30 cm between the anchor bolts.

The full quantity was manufactured at the Aktar factory in Riyadh and light-tested before wrapping, then transported to the project site in Makkah under a materials-transport declaration issued by White Bridge Contracting Co. on 24 August 2026.
